The “APOLLON Cable Line” series
The second highest quality cable line from Lehr Audio Solutions is called “APOLLON Cable Line”.
Apollon was a son of Zeus and has the same divine genes as his father. APOLLON cables also have the same genes.
The technical structure
The cable cores are made from a high-purity copper braid without the use of machines. By processing the copper braid in a specific way the cable’s resistance is significantly reduced compared to conventional cables.
The cable cores created in this way are then covered with an electrical barrier layer. Lehr Audio also performs this coating without the use of machines. This has the advantage that the cable core is not pretensioned. Additionally, the plastic sheath does not exert any external clamping forces on the cable ends.
The shielding is applied to the plastic-sheathed cable core in the same way. This also prevents forces from being introduced into the cable core in this processing step. Also gently processed are the layers required for the finish of the cable.
The result of this complex manufacturing process is cables with extremely low inductance and capacitance and a reduced skin effect.
Another key point is hidden in the wooden box. The principle of a cascade is used there. With the special cascade structure a positive effect on the problems of dielectric absorption and dielectric relaxation is implemented.
